Product and service design examples

Nomu

Created as part of a bioenterprise group, Nomu was produced alongside a full business plan and science case. Combining cutting edge research and established biochemistry, it had potential not only to function in the real world but find a market too.

Street nights

Designed while studying healthcare design at imperial and the RCA, street nights took genuine patient insight and feedback – turning into a unique product with the capacity to create real benefit for those affected by partial blindness.

Canopy

Discreet, safe and secure, Canopy was created in collaboration with Imperial NHS trust. A simple, free postal test for common sexually transmitted diseases, it was paired with a web-app that gave users trusted information and the ability to find and book treatment if required. By targeting the product initially at underrepresented areas of London, it was designed save trusts money by reducing the costs involved in treating secondary complications.
